Pro Clean Cleaning & Restoration was founded as a carpet cleaning company in 1974 by Mike Wheatley. He took over what was then Sears Carpet Cleaning.

At the time, Pro Clean mainly handled carpet cleaning and upholstery cleaning practices, but over time it became apparent that Pro Clean needed to become more versatile and handle both water and fire damage restoration services, as well as mold remediation and air duct cleaning.

Soon, we were completing a fair amount of fire damage restoration throughout the Norfolk and Virginia Beach area.

Mike was able to establish Pro Clean as the leader in carpet and upholstery cleaning in Hampton Roads. He quickly became one of the largest non-franchised carpet cleaning companies in the area.

Certified and Trained Techs at Your Service

In 1999, Billy Shoen purchased the company and continued building Pro Clean into a multi-faceted cleaning and restoration company.

Today Pro Clean employs certified and trained technicians in all aspects of the work we do. Further, we are proud to hold a Class A Virginia State Contractors license for handling the largest of restoration projects.

Since 1974, Pro Clean has been a local and family-owned company putting the needs of our customers before anything else we do.
